A small country shaped like a drop hanging from the Indian peninsula.

Located southeast of the vast Indian territory, this small Asian country, which resembles more an island, is home to an enormous variety of fish in jigging modalities as well as giant GTs on topwater.

In 2015, guided by one of the most renowned captains in the GT fishing world, we had the opportunity to spend six full days of exploratory fishing in the south of this southern Asian country. Six years later, at the turn of 2021 to 2022, the good sons returned home, and in just two days of fishing made history both on the surface and in the capture of different species with light jigging.

Today, much closer to the capital Colombo, we have structured a fantastic fishing operation for both beginner and experienced anglers.

With excellent infrastructure in accommodations and boats, just one hour from Colombo, we take our NOMADS friends on an adrenaline-filled experience at sea, and after epic days in their lives, they can enjoy a comfortable Guest House to rest and relax.

Trip Details

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Colombo and transfer from the airport to the Guest House or hotel in the capital for a free day and night.

Day 2 to Day 6 or 7:
If going straight from the airport to the Guest House, Day 2 will already be filled with battles between anglers and surface giants.
Alternatively, if the choice is to relax in Colombo upon arrival and enjoy a nice dinner in the city, we’ll use Day 2 for the transfer from Colombo to the Guest House, with fishing starting a day later — on Day 3 of the trip.

Day 8:
Transfer from the Guest House back to Colombo, with the option to enjoy a few more nights in the Sri Lankan capital or begin the return journey to Brazil (on the same day) via a night flight to Doha or Dubai.

A embarcação é um catamaran parelhado de motores 150 HP e equipado com eletrônicos como radar, sonar e outros.

Com uma ampla área de pesca aberta e sem obstáculos para os “pinchos” de grandes poopers, os trabalhos das grandes iscas assim como os duelos com os GT´s se tornam muito confortáveis e favoráveis para embarcar os peixes após alguns minutos de brigas.

No retorno das pescarias, quando o pescador retorna exausto das batalhas travadas durante o dia, a apenas 10-15 minutos de van do desembarque marítimo, estaremos hospedados em uma Guest House amplamente acolhedora para satisfazer as maiores necessidades pós um longo dia no mar, simplicidade local e conforto. As refeições serão preparadas por um chef dedicado ao time de pescadores que estarão hospedados em quartos nos modelos Single-bed ou Twin-bed rooms.
